Emotional Fitness

Music is an excellent way to represent emotions.  A song, especially in relation to memories about events in our lives, is a very powerful way to evoke an emotion.  Music is used to ready people for warfare (bagpipes, haka), romance (love songs), relaxation (muzak).  Music accompanies us in many aspects of modern life: in the car, shopping, airports, railway stations, night life.  It is everywhere.

The Song Sequence has been developed in conjunction with theory on how emotions work and can be channelled, exercised and developed.  This is done in an Emotional Fitness Programme called Emotfit.
